Method

Peel and clean some large potatoes; make a hole in the centre and fill with stuffing made either of sausage meat or of remnants of cold meats, to which you add chopped garlic, a little bacon, parsley, salt and pepper. Put them in a fireproof dish with a piece of butter and a little consommé. Cook in a moderate oven, basting often.
