Method

Put 1 tablespoon of Piperonata underneath each egg in the ramekins. Spoon 1 tablespoon of cream over each egg. Sprinkle ½–1 tablespoon of finely grated cheese on top of each egg; a little cooked bacon or crispy rasher may also be added. Bake uncovered in a bain-marie in the oven if preferred.
