This batter must bake in an ungreased pan to encourage it to stick to the pan as it rises. Prepare a place for the cake to cool when it emerges from the oven. Inverting a tube pan is easily accomplished over a long-necked bottle. If you are baking in a springform pan, balance the empty pan on top of four sturdy glasses turned upside down, in such a way that the pan
