Make your own roasted sunflower seeds for a snack or to take to the ballpark for the next game.

Ingredients

  • 1 cup raw sunflower seeds in the shell
  • 2 tablespoons coarse salt
  • 1

Method

Preheat the oven to 400°F. Put the seeds, salt, and water into a saucepan and set over medium-high heat. Bring to a boil, reduce the heat, and simmer for about 15 to 20 minutes. Drain the water and spread the seeds out in a single layer on a baking sheet.
