This burger originated in the city we are from, Provo, Utah, where the Rockies are some of the biggest mountains in the world. And after piling on all the ham and toppings, the name fits this burger, and we’re sure it will soon become a regular at your house. You can truly call this one a “Ham-Burger.”

Ingredients

  • 6 slices deli sliced ham
  • 1 tablespoon (15 ml) vegetable oil

Method

  1. Turn the griddle on to medium/high to high heat (above 400°F [200°C]).
  2. Lay the ham on the griddle, brown each side for about a minute, and then pull and set aside.
  3. Once the griddle is to temperature, lay the oil on the griddle.
  4. Place the 2 meatballs in the oil, ensuring space between the meatballs to give them room to be smashed.
