Ingredients

Griddle Fries

  • 1 large Russet potato, cut into ¼-inch x ¼-inch (3 mm x 3 mm) strips
  • 2–4 tablespoons (28 to 60 ml) p

Method

Cook the griddle fries

  1. Soak the fries in cold water for 5–10 minutes. After soaking, pull from the water, lay flat onto a dry paper towel, and cover with another dry paper towel and pat dry.
  2. Turn one side of the griddle on to medium/low heat (300°F to 325°F [150°C to 170°C]).
