Ingredients

  • 15 ounce can refried beans
  • ½ cup beer
  • 4

Method

  1. Prepare the smoker for barbecuing, bringing the temperature to 200°F to 220°F.
  2. Stir together the beans, beer, bacon, and cheese in a smoke-proof dish. Place in the smoker and cook until heated through and lightly infused with smoke, about 30 minutes. Add the salsa, checking the heat level before you commit yourself to all of it. Stir in a little salt if needed.
