  • About

We originally developed this for our barbecued beef short ribs but decided it was too good to limit to one dish. It also transforms other mundane cuts of meat, from pork spareribs to chicken drumsticks.

Ingredients

  • cups ketchup
  • 1 cup beer
  • ¾ cup

Method

Mix all the ingredients in a saucepan and bring the liquid to a simmer. Reduce the heat to low and cook the mixture until it thickens, approximately 40 minutes. Stir frequently. Use the sauce warm. It keeps, refrigerated, for a couple of weeks.
