Two lovely dishes involving coffee and vanilla ice-cream. The Affogato can be served as a pudding, whilst the Blanca e Negra is more of a refreshing afternoon drink. Ideally you should use fresh espresso coffee and home-made vanilla ice-cream, but both recipes are perfectly acceptable when made with instant espresso and good-quality shop-bought ice-cream.
