Another old-school dessert that is ideal for the solo cook. Bananas have a natural affinity with whisky – especially a whisky with tropical notes (but to be honest their mellow sweetness pairs well with most types). If you don’t have whisky to hand, simply substitute with rum or brandy.
Have a champagne coupe or cocktail glass at the ready. Slice the banana into about 5 diagonal pieces.
