Chocolate & Vanilla Muddle Cake

I love getting my kids to bake with me – yes, it takes twice as long to tidy up but it’s fun, especially when they rename your recipes. When I first made this cake with Myles, my youngess boy, he asked me what it was we were making. I told him that we were making a marble cake. Not having a vast vocabulary at this point he seemed to think about this for a little while, looked at the swirled batter and asked ‘muddle cake?’. It did make me smile, and affectionately we have called our marble c
