This bread was born simply by my inherent need to use up leftovers. On this particular occasion, it was caramel sauce that had been left looming in the fridge after a dessert of churros a few nights before. After a bit of experimental baking the said- sauce ended up layered between sheets of bread dough, which was then served in a pool of caramel custard.
