There are days on which I need a sinus-clearing soup that is easily made and good to taste. This is it. If the jalapeños are very mild, use two, or substitute two very small hot peppers, dried or fresh.



In a medium saucepan, bring the stock, ½ cup (125 ml) water, the ginger, garlic, and jalapeño to a boil. Lower the heat and simmer, partially covered, for 15 minutes.
