When it comes to dough, I love butter, and I believe in homemade. I’d be lying if I said I never bought a store-bought shell (I even suggest it in this book, for those times when you’re in a pinch), but I urge you to at least try the homemade route. I’d also love to ask you to teach your children, your neighbor’s children, your sister’s children (OK, any children) how to make it from scratch.
