What I love most about Nana’s tea cakes and her fried pies in particular is that one could take up a good chunk of a Saturday afternoon, and the other is a quick and easy way to keep little hands busy. Depending on the situation, Nana was always ready with one or the other. Both bring back sweet memories I’ll cherish forever.
