  • About

This bread is fabulous with spicy food, pickles and chutneys. The yoghurt keeps the bread moist and soft-textured and the spice gives a kickstart of heat. The bread can also be baked as thin breadsticks to use as a base for a spicy canapé.

Ingredients

Method

  1. Warm caramelised onion gently in a saucepan.
  2. Mix flour, salt and nigella seeds in bowl of an electric mixer fitted with a dough hook.
  3. Dissolve yeast and castor sugar in warm water. Stir warm onion and yoghurt into yeast mixture, then immediately pour into flour and knead with dough hook on medium speed for 15 minutes.
  4. Cover bowl with plastic
