This is a versatile and satisfying Turkish flat bread which is delicious for breakfast, drizzled with honey or Tahin Pekmez, but it also serves as a shovel, scoop or mop for dips, mezze and Mediterranean-style dishes. I usually scatter nigella or sesame seeds over the top, as is the tradition, but you can try poppy, fennel or caraway seeds, and for a bit of nutty texture you could sprinkle the top with sunflower or pumpkin seeds as well.
