Honey Simple Syrup

• ½ cup honey
• ½ cup water

Infuser of choice (optional; see list of infused syrups)

In a saucepan over medium-high heat, combine the honey, water, and infuser of your choice (if using), stirring until the honey melts into the water and the mixture is steaming. Remove from the heat and let cool completely.

Pour into a clean container (through a fine-mesh sieve if using an infuser), cover, and refrigerate f
