In a saucepan, combine the cranberry juice and sugar. Heat over medium heat until the sugar dissolves and the mixture is steaming. Remove from the heat and allow the mixture to cool to room temperature. Add the vinegar and stir well. Seal the jar and refrigerate for at least 24 hours, allowing the flavors to meld. Shake the jar occasionally. Use within 2 weeks.
