Refreshing and bright, this updated twist on a classic shandy celebrates Delaware’s craft beer heritage and coastal flavors. Featuring Dogfish Head ale, fresh watermelon juice, and lime, this crisp, summery drink embodies the state’s innovative brewing spirit and love for beachside sipping.

Ingredients

  • 10 ounces cold ale, preferably Dogfish Head
  • 4 ounces cold watermelon juice

Method

Add the beer, watermelon juice, and lime juice to a pint glass. Stir gently. Weave the cucumber ribbon around the watermelon balls. Spear on a cocktail pick and garnish. Alternatively, garnish with a watermelon wedge. Serve.
