A twist on the Moscow mule, this drink combines Missouri’s rich bourbon heritage with local apple brandy in recognition of the state’s abundant orchards. Campari adds depth, while Cointreau introduces a citrusy finish. Served in a copper mug, it’s a refreshing taste of Missouri craftsmanship and flavor.

Ingredients

  • ounces bourbon, preferably from Missouri
  • ¾ ounce apple brandy
  • ½

Method

Fill a copper mug or rocks glass with ice. Add the bourbon, apple brandy, Campari, and orange liqueur and stir. Top with ginger beer. Garnish with the orange and apple slices and serve.
