Created in the 1990s at Edna’s, a beloved Oklahoma City dive bar, the Lunchbox blends light beer, orange juice, and a shot of amaretto. Its unexpected flavor and easy appeal made it a local legend. Still popular today, it’s a signature of OKC’s unpretentious, inventive bar culture.
Freeze a beer mug until frosty. Add the orange juice, then the beer and stir gently to mix. Pour in the amaretto, garnish with the orange slice, and serve.
