  • About

This alpine Negroni channels the high-altitude essence of Wyoming, where juniper grows wild and huckleberries thrive in mountain meadows. Featuring locally made sweet vermouth and a hint of smoked aspen salt—a nod to the state’s aspen groves and campfire culture—it’s a rugged, aromatic cocktail rooted in the Wild West.

Ingredients

  • 1 ounce botanical gin
  • 1 ounce sweet vermouth, preferably from Wyoming
  • 1</

Method

Fill a cocktail shaker with ice. Add the gin, sweet vermouth, dry vermouth, Campari, orange liqueur, simple syrup, and smoked salt and shake to combine. Strain into an ice-filled rocks glass or a chilled coupe glass without ice. Garnish with the juniper sprig and serve.
