  • About

There are many ways to make horseradish sauce, but this is my favorite. Serve it cold.

Ingredients

  • 2 apples, peeled, cored, and chopped
  • 2 tablespoons unsalted butter
  • ¼ cup

Method

Combine the apple and butter in a 1-quart saucepan. Cook, covered, over medium heat for about 10 minutes, stirring every couple of minutes, until the apple softens. Remove the lid, stir in the horseradish, and continue cooking until you’ve obtained a thick applesauce. Refrigerate.
