This is a wonderfully refreshing soup from Israel that can range from good to magnificent, depending on the quality of the fruit you track down.
The recipe here is really only a model. Feel free to increase, decrease, eliminate altogether, or add completely different fruits, depending on what you find. In midsummer I make this soup almost entirely with the little soft strawberries I find at the farmer’s market; later in the summer I use Concord grapes instead of the white ones liste
