Every now and then I do like a sweet fancy, so here is one. Please excuse the cat on the table (it was hard to resist framing this cute scene with a misty border).
To make the biscuits, sift the flour, icing sugar and salt into a large bowl. Cut the butter into roughly 2cm pieces and drop into the flour. Toss around with a large metal spoon until the butter is lightly coated in the flour. Mix the water and lemon juice and pour into the flour and butter.
