  • 500 g/1 lb green tomatoes
  • 80 ml/

Method

  1. Slice tomatoes lengthwise into eighths.
  2. Heat oil in a large frying pan and add onion and green masala paste. Cook gently for a few minutes.
  3. Add tomato and stir to coat thoroughly with spice paste. Cook over moderate heat for 5 minutes until tomato begins to soften, tossing pan occasionally to prevent sticking.
