  • 1 lb 12 oz/794 g all-purpose flour

Method

  1. Combine the flour, turmeric, salt, and baking powder. Add the butter and mix well. Add enough cold water to form a soft dough, 8 to 10 fl oz/240 to 300 mL. Wrap the dough in plastic and refrigerate for 1 hour.
  2. In a skillet, sweat the onions, garlic, and chile in the olive oil until they are tender, about 2 minutes.
  3. Add the beef, tomatoes, thyme, cumin
