To see if the minced beef is well seasoned, brown some of it first, and then taste. Add more spices, salt or pepper as desired.
In a large bowl, knead the minced lamb, onion, ground allspice, salt and pepper with the palm of your hand until well mixed. Cover and refrigerate for 30 minutes. This will make it easier to form meatballs from the mixture.
