Pomegranates grow all over our island, and the “granada”, as it is known in Spain, is steeped in history and romance. The pomegranate is a symbol of fertility and wealth in many countries and a very popular fruit all over the Mediterranean and the Middle East. However, strangely enough, here in Mallorca you rarely see it in any local dishes.

Here, marinating the lamb in pomegranate, her
