These beautiful sweets from Zurich are essentially a flavoured marzipan, pressed into wooden forms. Quite unlike other, gingerbready Leckerli found in Switzerland (especially Basel) these detailed beauties can be coloured and flavoured with a range of different nuts and spices, like green pistachios, dark chocolate, or pink sandalwood.
