Just like in Italy, you’ll And biscotti in Ticino, ready to be dipped into something warm, like coffee, or boozy, like Vin Santo. I like to add a hint of booze to my biscotti dough and dip them in my favourite Ticinese liqueur, Nocino.
Whisk together the sugar, melted butter, eggs and yolk, Nocino and orange zest.
In a separate bowl, sift together the flour, baking powder, and salt. Stir into the sugar mixture until combined. Roughly chop the walnuts and fold in.
