Nougat Blanc

The most famous nougat in the world come from Montélimar, just north of Provence. But the most interesting place to buy real Provençal nougat is the lovely windy village of sault in the wild hills east of Mont Ventoux. Every window in every shop seems to be selling nought- or the honey and lavender from which it is made. Even the local hatshop displays its wares on stands of honeypots!
