This Korean favourite, chugmu kimbap, is influenced by Japanese maki, although the seaweed rolls are served separately from the other ingredients. Cooked rice is wrapped in seaweed, and then served with spicy squid and radish. The fluffy texture and mild taste of the rice roll are nicely set off by the crunch of the radish and distinctive kick of the chilli and garlic seasoning. This delicious snack is perfect when accompanied by a bowl of clear soup.
