Yukgejang is one of the most traditional Korean soups. The smoky taste of fern fronds gives it its unique flavour, and red chilli powder provides a fierce kick and fiery colour to the combination of beef and leek. Yukgejang makes a perfect lunch dish when served with a bowl of rice and accompanied by kimchi.
