  • 1 large or 2 medium onions, finely chopped

Combine the ham and onion in a food processor and grind together. Stir in ½ cup of the flour and the butter and hot milk. Add the nutmeg and salt. Let the mixture cool and refrigerate for 3 hours or overnight, if desired.
