One of our favorite San Francisco restaurants is the Pacific Heights Bar and Grill or, as it is affectionately known by its regulars, the Pacbag. This recipe of Chef Ellis Casabar has recently become a regular appetizer in our house and it works very nicely as a warm-up to the holiday feast. To heighten its festive appearance, garnish the pâté with extra chopped pistachios, and dress up the crock with an arrangement of seasonal fruits. Serve with rye toast points or toasted
