Harvest Corn Sticks

These are made in well-cured, heavy cast-iron molds that are shaped like ears of corn. Traditionally each of these molds makes 7 corn sticks. This recipe makes about 40 corn sticks but since few people own 6 molds, they can be made in shifts. We recommend that you have at least 2 molds, and preferably 3. Keep the corn sticks warm and serve with plenty of soft butter.
