This variation is the brainchild of Barbara Folger, who summers on Cape Cod. It works best with a stone ground cornmeal. Barbara gets her ground cornmeal from Leo Manning at Dexter’s Grist Mill in Sandwich, Massachusetts.

Ingredients

  • ½ cup sugar
  • 1 cup whole wheat flour

  1. Preheat the oven to 425 degrees.
