Pecan pie is almost as essential to Thanksgiving as pumpkin pie. The problem we have found with many recipes is that they have an unappealing, gloppy cornstarch filling. We set about developing a pecan pie that is mainly pecans—no filler. The result is a pecan lover’s dream: great to look at and packed with nuts.
