We don’t ordinarily think that chocolate has a place in the Thanksgiving feast, but the addition of chestnuts makes this rich mousse quite appropriate. We have found that the flavors of this luscious dessert marry more thoroughly if it is refrigerated overnight.
Combine the cocoa and the chestnut spread in a large bowl. Stir in the Amaretto.
In another bowl whip the cream until stiff peaks are formed. Fold the cream into the chestnut mixture. Spoon into 8 wineglasses. Refrigerate for at least 3 hours.
