This is another classic bombe creation. While pretty, the components of Bombe Bourdaloue were chosen for their distinct and complementary flavors rather than to create a visual showpiece, as is done in some other varieties. This bombe is named for a street in Paris, Rue Bourdaloue, where the shop of the pastry chef who invented the recipe, during the Belle Epoque, was located.
