Black-Tie Strawberries

These cute dressed-up berries should not be restricted to plated dessert decorations. They make a great addition to a buffet or to a cookie or pastry tray, and they can be made a day ahead if kept, well covered, in the refrigerator. Use large berries or, better, long-stemmed strawberries to make them even more elegant.
