Method

  1. Divide the marzipan into 2 equal pieces and roll each into a rope 20 inches (50 cm) long. Place the ropes side by side and cut them into pieces 1 inch (2.5 cm) long. If the marzipan has become soft from rolling the ropes, refrigerate the ropes for a short time before cutting to produce clean cuts without flattening the ends.
