Like the Triangular Tuile Spirals, these decorations are made with a flat base so they stand straight on the serving plate. However, unlike the spirals, which are designed to sit on top of or next to a dessert, these curved tuile wedges are made to fit over and around a cylindrical dessert, making them both a container and a decoration.

To shape the curved wedges, you will need two plastic tubes or wooden dowels, 2 inches (5 cm) in diameter and 6 to 8 inches (15 to 20 cm) long.
