Ingredients

  • Juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup (240 ml) simple syrup

Method

  1. Add the lemon juice to the simple syrup.
  2. Place an apple or pear lengthwise on an electric slicer so the fruit stem is parallel to the blade. Cut off slices, making them as thin as possible without breaking or tearing. Repeat with the other apples or pears. Discard the end pieces that do not have a complete apple or pear outline.
