  • 8 ounces (225 g) granulated sugar

Method

  1. Place the sugar, butter or margarine, egg, and vanilla in a mixing bowl; mix at low speed with the dough hook just long enough to incorporate the ingredients.
  2. Add the flour and hazelnuts and mix just until the dough is smooth.
  3. Place the dough on a paper-lined sheet pan; press as flat as possible. Cover and refrigerate.
