  • ¾ cup (6 oz/185 g) confectioner’s sugar

Method

  1. Sift the sugar into a large bowl and add the butter. Using an electric mixer on low speed, beat until combined. Increase the speed to mediumhigh and beat until light and fluffy, about 3 minutes. Add the vanilla and salt and beat on low speed just until combined.
  2. Store in the refrigerator for up to 3 days. Bring to room temperature before using.
