Make the dough just before you are ready to roll and shape it, as cold dough will tend to crack when folding. If using chilled dough, let it sit out at room temperature for 1 hour to soften before use.

Ingredients

  • 1 large egg white
  • All-purpose flour for dusting
  • Dough for Vanilla Sugar Cookies
  • White sanding sugar for sprink

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 350°F (180°C). Line 3 baking sheets with parchment paper. In a small bowl, whisk together the egg white and 2 teaspoons water, and set aside.
  2. On a lightly floured work surface, using a floured rolling pin, roll the dough into an 11-
