Ingredients: 1 large egg + 2 large eggs for egg wash; 2 tsp (10 mL) fresh chopped thyme; ½ tsp (2.5 mL) sea salt; 2 tsp (10 mL) pure vanilla extract; 1 tsp (5 mL) fresh grated lemon zest; 1½ cups (375 mL) granulated sugar; 2 Tbsp (30 mL) extra virgin olive oil; 2¼ cups (560 mL) softened unsalted butter; 4 cups (1 L) cake flour; 1½ cups (375 mL) crispy bacon bits; ¾ cup (180 mL) shredded Parmesan cheese
